General Questions:
What is a virtual race? Do I still run?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose! You still run the 5k (3.1 miles), and we encourage you to run the original race course on the beach and boardwalk...but if that doesn't work for you, you can run wherever you are - whether that be in VB, or out of town, out of state, or even out of the country!
Crush N' Run's virtual race will fall over an entire week (September 27th-October 4th), so that you can do the race on your time that week...whether you're a 5am-er, weekend warrior, or want to run in the middle of the day on Wednesday - you decide!
Your race bib and finisher's medal will be mailed to you, so grab your running buddies, pin that bib on so it feels official, and get out there to crush it! Then bring your bib to the Shack anytime during CNR Week, redeem the free Orange Crush you just earned, and cheers with your friends!
What do I get for my entry fee?
All Crush N' Run Virtual 5K finishers will receive a unique finisher’s medal (check out our FB page for a preview of the medal), along with one free Orange Crush at the Shack! Please wear or bring your race bib to the Shack, as that (in addition to proper identification) will give you your free Orange Crush. Race bibs and medals will be mailed out to the address listed on your registration.
Will I receive a refund if I cannot attend? Can someone else run with my bib?
No refunds will be given, as proceeds benefit local charities. Bibs/race numbers are non-transferable - no exceptions.
What are the age limits for Crush N'Run?
We encourage participants of all ages to participate in the Crush N'Run Virtual 5K, and the ability to redeem your race bib at the Shack is open to everyone. In accordance with state law, only participants ages 21 and older with proper ID will be allowed a complimentary Crush with their race bib. Fresh-squeezed orange juice will be available for those who do not care for the complimentary Orange Crush, or are not eligible due to age.
Miscellaneous Information:
Where can I park if I'm planning to run the original CNR course?
Parking is available throughout the resort area in metered parking spaces, and in the 9th Street Parking Garage at current city rates. Plan on bringing some cash to pay for parking.
Can I register during race week?
If the event is not sold out, you can register online until Tuesday, September 29th and your medal and bib will be mailed to you. Or, register at the Shack in person (using cash or a credit card) between Wednesday, September 30 to Sunday, October 4, 2020.
Will race times still be logged?
The race will not be officially timed since participants will be running at different times and locations. However, runners can submit race times by honor system to the EnMotive leaderboard and view rankings. To do this, race times must be submitted no later than October 11, 2020 by following these instructions:

Are pets or baby joggers allowed at the Shack when I come to redeem my bib for my free Crush?
Baby joggers and kids are welcome at the Shack prior to 9pm daily! Dogs are permitted at the Shack on slower days during the week, based on capacity, so we recommend leaving your furry friends at home in case we are not able to accommodate them when you arrive.
When is the 2021 race and when will registration open for it?
Our 5th Annual Crush N' Run is slated for April 10, 2021! Registration will open in the coming months...stay tuned!
